Zbori Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Zbori ("the app", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who may use Zbori

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The app is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, and for everything that happens under your account.
One person, one account. Do not share your account or let anyone else use it.

2. Your account

You must give an accurate email address when signing up.
You may delete your account at any time from the profile screen. Deleting your account removes your progress and profile data.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, abuse the service, or attempt to disrupt it for others.

3. Free and paid access

Part of the curriculum is free. Access to the remaining units requires an active subscription.
Subscriptions are billed through Lemon Squeezy, who act as merchant of record and handle payment, invoicing and applicable taxes. Their terms apply to the payment itself.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the customer portal linked in your profile; access continues to the end of the paid period.
Prices may change. We will give notice before a change affects an existing subscription.
Where you have a statutory right to withdraw or a refund (for example, consumer rights in the EU/UK), that right is unaffected by these terms.

4. Acceptable use

Do not:

copy, scrape, resell or redistribute the lessons, audio, artwork or other content;
attempt to bypass the paywall, tamper with your progress, or manipulate the leaderboard;
probe, overload or attack the service, or attempt to access other users' accounts or data;
use the app to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.

5. Content and ownership

The lessons, exercises, audio, illustrations, characters and software are ours or our licensors', and are protected by copyright. You get a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use them for your own language learning while your account is active.
Anything you enter (such as your display name) remains yours. You grant us permission to store and display it as needed to run the service, including on the in-app leaderboard.
Choose a display name that is not offensive and does not impersonate anyone.

6. Advertising

The public pages of Zbori show ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies and similar technologies for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for detail on what is collected and how to control it.

7. Learning outcomes

Zbori is a learning tool, not a certified course. We do not promise any particular level of fluency, exam result, or outcome. Streaks, XP and leagues are motivational features, not qualifications.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the app running, but we do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free. It is provided "as is".
We may add, change or remove features, including lessons and units, as the app develops.
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will ask you to accept the new version the next time you use the app. Continuing to use Zbori after an update means you accept the current terms.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or lost profits arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Ending the agreement

You may stop using Zbori and delete your account at any time. We may end this agreement if you materially breach these terms. Sections covering ownership, liability and governing law survive termination.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and disputes are subject to the courts there, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
