Why learn Serbian?
Serbian is spoken by around ten million people, most of them in Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro, with a large diaspora spread across Europe and North America. It's one of the few European languages that's officially digraphic: both the Cyrillic and Latin alphabets are taught in schools and used interchangeably in daily life.
Modern Serbian Cyrillic follows the phonetic reform led by Vuk Karadžić in the 19th century, one letter per sound, with no silent letters or irregular spelling to memorize. Zbori's grammar guide is modeled on him, and teaches both scripts side by side from your very first lesson.
